TANK IADC 737 and 837 tricone bits are designed for drilling extremely hard and abrasive rock formations. These TCI tricone drill bits feature high-strength tungsten carbide inserts and optimized cutting structures that provide excellent durability and stable drilling performance.
The cutting structure uses chisel and conical tungsten carbide inserts with a relatively large offset from the cone shell. This design improves rock crushing efficiency and allows higher penetration rates when drilling very hard formations such as granite, quartzite, basalt, and highly abrasive shale.
To improve durability in harsh drilling conditions, these tungsten carbide insert tricone bits include reinforced shirttail protection with carbide inserts. This structure significantly increases wear resistance and extends the service life of the roller cone bit during drilling operations.
TANK tricone drill bits are widely used in mining drilling, oilfield drilling, geothermal wells, and water well drilling, delivering reliable performance and lower drilling cost per meter.
